At St. Bernadette's, we live out our mission and vision through our Gospel Values. Guided by 'The Jelly Bean Way', our children live as disciples of Christ by showing kindness, compassion, stewardship, courage, humility and justice. To further promote our values system, school has adopted Houses. Each 'House' is named after a carefully chosen Saint; the patron of each house represents the values we aspire to live by. Pupils are given a range of rich opportunities to represent and work together with other children in their house in various events. When children live out our Gospel values, they are awarded house points. These accrue over a half term and at the end of every half term, the winning house receives a reward. This can take many forms: pizza and movie in the hall and visits to Wallsend park to name a few.
